[School – Final Year Project]
For our Final Year Project, my teammate Fredrica Sam and I took on a design brief from the Design and Art Direction awards competition, set by Google Fonts and The Typographic Circle.
The Project Objective was to find a poem and use font technology to reinforce its message, relating to a local ecological or environmental issue. So, we created a typographical campaign called "Small Hands, Big Heart" using only Google Fonts to help children discover, learn about, empathise with and love Singapore’s local wildlife,
so that they can be a part of the solution to protect and conserve the environment, as
well as inspire others to do the same.

The poem chosen was "Before Paradise is Lost" by Grace Chia. The poem shows the author's son interacting with the nature around him, as well as the author's thoughts on how we create an easier life for ourselves by taking away the wildlife creatures’ needs.
We were able to showcase our project as part of MAD Grad Showcase in 2024.

A book talking about 14 different local animals, each with its own texture and sound to enhance the readers' senses. Comes with an activity sheet, a letter and an audiobook for the visually-impaired.
